Overview
The Guatapé and El Peñol Rock day tour is the most popular excursion in Antioquia, and with FoxTravel you enjoy it with the comfort of a company with more than 15 years of experience in special passenger transport. We pick you up at your hotel in El Poblado, Laureles, Envigado or downtown Medellín and drive east through the mountains of Oriente Antioqueño to the reservoir.
You will climb the 740 steps of El Peñol Rock for one of the most spectacular panoramic views in Colombia, cruise the Guatapé reservoir by boat and walk through the town of the zócalos, famous for its brightly painted façades. We travel in small groups of maximum 14 people, with no unnecessary shopping stops and with a Spanish and English speaking guide.
Vehicle assigned according to group size
- 1 to 4 passengers: executive sedan or SUV with air conditioning.
- 5 to 9 passengers: air-conditioned tourist van.
- 10 to 19 passengers: air-conditioned tourist minibus.
- 20 to 40 passengers: tourism bus or coach.
Every vehicle has a valid technical-mechanical inspection, passenger insurance and a driver licensed for special passenger transport. FoxTravel operates under Colombian tourism registry RNT 47717.
