Overview
Colombia is the country of coffee and Antioquia is one of its historic growing regions. On this coffee tour near Medellín you visit a family farm less than an hour from the city and follow the whole process from the seed to the cup.
You will walk the plantation with the grower, pick ripe cherries during the harvest season, see the pulping and drying process, roast your own batch and finish with a guided cupping led by a barista. It is an authentic, small group experience limited to 12 travellers, with no mass tourism.
Vehicle assigned according to group size
- 1 to 4 passengers: executive sedan or SUV with air conditioning.
- 5 to 9 passengers: air-conditioned tourist van.
- 10 to 19 passengers: air-conditioned tourist minibus.
- 20 to 40 passengers: tourism bus or coach.
Every vehicle has a valid technical-mechanical inspection, passenger insurance and a driver licensed for special passenger transport. FoxTravel operates under Colombian tourism registry RNT 47717.
