Comuna 13 Graffiti Tour with Metrocable and Street Food

4 Hours

Overview

The Comuna 13 graffiti tour is the most moving cultural experience in Medellín. Once one of the most dangerous neighbourhoods in the world, San Javier is today an open-air museum where murals, hip hop and the famous outdoor escalators tell the story of how a community transformed itself.

You walk the neighbourhood with a local guide born and raised there, who explains the meaning behind each mural, the history of Operation Orión and the social projects that changed the area. We include the Metrocable and metro ride so you can see the city from above, plus a tasting of typical street food such as mango biche and paletas.
